We are pleased to offer dental care for the whole family.
A pediatric dentist is a licensed specialist. While he isn’t a specialist, as a general dentist, Dr. Weber’s dental school education included a rotation in the pediatric dentistry clinic, and he is licensed to care for patients of all ages, including basic dental care for children and teens.
All of your child’s regular dental exams and cleanings can be taken care of at Franklin Smiles. Our hope is that this makes it convenient for each member of your family to receive ongoing dental care in one location.
Our Pediatric Dentistry Services
Dr. Weber enjoys treating children. He provides regular exams and cleanings. He provides regular fluoride treatments for children whose permanent teeth have begun to emerge. Dr. Weber also handles minor preventative and corrective treatment for children through the use of sealants and composite fillings. If more involved treatment is needed, or if your child requires sedation, Dr. Weber will be happy to provide a referral to a pediatric dentist specialist.
The Best Age to Start
Remember to begin brushing your baby’s teeth as soon as they appear. Then, when they’re two or three, bring them with you to your dentist appointment. They’ll see what it feels like to sit in the chair and if they’re willing, get their first cleaning. Having an early positive experience at the dentist with Dr. Weber will set them up for a lifetime of good dental care habits.
